If you’re going to get married in winter you may as well go all out for guaranteed snow and sub zero temperatures! That’s what Sheree and Liam decided when they chose Manning Park Resort for their January 26th wedding venue. What a fabulous place for a wedding…stunning scenery, skiing, tubing, ice skating, superb restaurant, cozy hotel and cabins too!

We arrived on Saturday morning after an uneventful drive. There was deep snow at the resort already and more was falling as we pulled in. After checking the location we located the bridal party:

And Liam wasn’t so bad either! Don’t you just love Dexter’s Goretex dog jacket!

What a fabulous setting for a wedding. They wanted snow, and they got it!

What would a winter wedding be without a little skating…

All the guests were bundled up in coats, snow boots and ski jackets for the OUTDOOR! ceremony

Sheree must have been absolutely freezing! She’s probably thinking about her African honeymoon to keep warm.

2008 wedding season started early with Sheena and Gabriel’s wedding on January 19th. The Weather Network had been promising blue skies and sunshine but we ended up with snow and slush! Nothing was going to put a damper on their day though….check out the smiles on the handsome groom and his guys!

I was delighted to have Adriana and her family come back to my studio for the first photo shoot of 2008!

I photographed Adriana and Lowell’s daughter, Ella a couple of years ago…what a cutie!

Now she has an adorable baby sister named Alexis
