My second wedding of the weekend started out at UBC. Heather and Chris are just a dream couple to work, they have such an easy going nature and fun attitude.

When I saw Nicole a couple of days before her May 17th wedding I barely recognised her. Then she told me that she is starring in Slice TV’s “Bulging Brides” show and for the last ten weeks has been through Bridal Bootcamp, nutrition councelling and has had a TV crew following her around everywhere. She looks absolutely phenomenal.

May 17th was the hottest day we have had this year with temperatures soaring into the 30s. Assistant Jennifer and I arrived at Nicole’s parents’ fabulous Deep Cove waterfront home for some pre-wedding pictures and despite claiming she felt she was melting Nicole looked cool, calm and collected.

And off to church for the ceremony…

May long weekend was the real kick off for my 2008 wedding season. I’ve already photographed a few weddings this year, but from now til October I’m busy practically every weekend! I started off with Alisha and Aaron’s Engagement session on Friday evening. Having already re-scheduled them three times due to all the rain, we were thrilled to finally get some fabulous weather. They chose Rocky Point for their location and brought puppy-pug Rocky out to join in the fun. Here is a sneak preview which I know Alisha is just dying to see.

Despite claiming to be nervous, I think these two secretly love being photographed. The wedding is set for the beginning of August and I know we are going to get more fabulous pictures of them. Enjoy the preview guys, looking forward to showing you the rest of the pictures!

I have had the pleasure of working with Witty on a number of weddings over the last few years, so when she phoned me last October I naturally assumed she was planning a wedding for a bride and was wanting me to do the photography. As it turned out Witty was planning her own wedding this time and wanted me to be her photographer!! Of course I was honoured to be asked. Witty and Udo’s wedding is set for August and we just did the engagement session up on Grouse Mountain on Friday evening with fine but chilly weather.

It’s going to be a fabulous Wedding Day, so looking forward to doing the wedding pics!
