I have been photographing Mary and Phil since they got engaged and then married in 2002. Their daughter Mairead, now 5, was the original baby for Bellies and Babies by Barbara. Since then I have photographed Mairead countless times and it has been a real joy to watch her grow up. Here’s some pictures from our Fall session last year….Mairead with Mum and Dad and baby brother, Beckett.

Do I get the gold medal for Worst Blogger in the World?

Apologies to everyone who has been following my site that I appeared to drop off the face of the earth last September!! That is not the case and excuses aside I have been busy despite this being “low season”.

2008 was an absolutely fabulous year for me. Wedding wise I was lucky to have so many fabulous clients with amazing ideas that allowed me to create some of the best images of my career…now showcased in my brand new web site.

It was also a real treat to have many of my exisiting Bellies and Babies clients come back for repeat sessions, as well as to met some brand new clients. Thank you to everyone who has referred me.

I was also really lucky to travel tons last year. People who know me, know that I love my trips and will squeeze it in wherever I can. Last year I was lucky to go to: Mexico, San Diego, Las vegas, LA road trip all the way back to Vancouver, Seattle, Penticton, UK to visit my family and a fabulous Western Carribbean cruise with a few days in the Florida Keys and Orlando.

I know everyone is here primarily to see images so here is an overview of the last few months:

Irene and Gilles’ Wedding September 13th, Terminal City Club, Vancouver

Michelle and Shawn : September 20th at Sequoia Grill in Stanley Park. It really seems true that the weather is better in September as this was just the most beautiful day…sunny and warm and just a hint of fall in the air as the sun began to set.

Shawn had myself and assistant, Taryn, onboard for a fabulous surprise for Michelle. We went back to English Bay, to the exact bench where Shawn had proposed, and he got down on one knee again with a pair of fabulous diamond earrings for Michelle. Needless to say she was speechless, and this was a perfect finale for my 2008 weddings!
