How much more fun can my job get? I mean come on seriously….hanging out with Zora and her parents on the weekend. This also happened to be Zora’s first birthday. Zora is a Samoyed and the most adorable, friendly dog you will likely ever meet. Zora managed to trick her parents into double breakfast and certainly got lots of treats on the photo session too.

Happy Birthday Zora! and thanks to Mum and Dad, Rishel and Constantine for the sushi and wine birthday party on the deck afterwards (Zora was passed out exhausted and happy).

Fur Babies is now donating 10% of proceeds from every Fur Baby photo session to the SPCA!

Winnie and Linwood totally scored one of the best days of the year, weather-wise for their E. Session! Blue skies, sunshine and one of the nicest, easy going and easy to please couples around made for a fabulous shoot. I can’t wait for the Wedding Day…roll on September!

Well if it isn’t stressful enough trying to plan a wedding under normal circumstances, try being Christine with a Fiance on the other side of the country, in the Canadian Air Force, trying to get leave for a wedding that was planned months ago. The good news is that Hamber did get back to BC and the couple had a beautiful wedding ceremony at Minoru Chapel in Richmond. The rain held off and the clouds gave us some fabulous diffused light to work with. Once again I was lucky to have the fabulous Libby working with me …. she even climbed a tree to get “to die for” images shot through cherry blossoms!!!

Christine and Hamber… you did it! Enjoy your new life together on the Island….Congratulations!

I photographed Kortney and Jordan’s engagement session and wedding a couple of years ago, so was delighted to get an email recently from Kortney telling me they now have a baby girl and wanted to book a “Recession Session”.

Alexys is beyond adorabe, she is just like a little doll and smiled and giggled through the whole session. Kortney had brought along a variety of fabulous ooutfits and, like a true super model, Alexys was agreeable to a number of outfit changes.

It’s so nice to have past clients come back with their growing families and real pleasure to create more treasured memories for them. It was really hard this time trying to pick out just a few for the blog as there are so many fabulous images. Kortney and Jordan…..congratulations again on your beautiful daughter …..enjoy your preview! xox
