I love my job!!! What’s not to love about getting to spend an hour with a wonderful family with some of the most gorgeous and cooperative children I have ever photographed. I met Allison and Tracer a couple of years ago when Tracer was Best Man at a wedding I was photographing. Since then I have photographed a 90th birthday party for them and was thrilled when they asked me to do a family session this summer.
I always look forward to summer and an email from Erin and Rod to say they are heading to BC from New Zealand and want to book yet another family photo session with me. I have been photographing their family since Finn’s first birthday back in 2005 and it has been wonderful to watch the family grow. This trip I was thrilled to meet new addition Tilly who at 9 months old is a gorgeous and adorable baby. Finn and middles sister Macey are fabulous kids to work with and I am already looking forward to our 2010 session!
I first met Teo last year when he was about 6 weeks old for his first photo session. I had photographed Mum and Dad, Amy and Paul’s engagement pictures in 2003 and then wedding pictures in 2004, so as always it was wonderful to be called up to do more work for them. Teo recently celebrated his first birthday and is so different from the little tiny baby I met last year. Not only is he totally adorable, he is also a great model and appeared to enjoy his photo session without any fuss.

Tara and Jay celebrated their beautiful wedding on July 11th, certainly one of the hottest days we have had this year. After photographs around their downtown hotel, the couple were married by Marriage Commissioner Karen Ell in a wonderfully heartfelt ceremony and then, after a truly amazing dinner went on to party the night away with sounds from DJ Elan at Hot Wax.

Suada and Rob recently celebrated their beautiful and elegant wedding on July 5th. Gabrielle and I were up early and off to North Vancouver to start the day with the day with the ladies, who were being made gorgeous by fabulous make up artist Colleen Kramm. Then it was off to the Celebration Pavillion in Queen Elizabeth Park for the ceremony followed by an amazing lunch at Seasons in the Park. We finished the day off at the beach with with just Suada and Rob, I think they were probably pretty tired by this point but gave it their all to create some fabulous images.

I have been photographing Allie and Brad since 2006 when Allie was pregnant with Campbell. Five photo sessions later I was thrilled to get a call telling me that Campbell now has a gorgeous baby brother ….Rory! Here is new addition Rory at 2 weeks old with his family. Congratulations Allie and Brad!!
One of the biggest compliments I can ever have is for someone to phone me up, say they have seen someone else pictures and want to book me! This is how I came to be Stephanie’s wedding photographer…she was a bridesmaid in Melissa’s wedding last year (and I can’t remember how many years that referral chain goes back!)
Stephanie wanted her wedding to look like a “Real Wedding”, classic beauty and elegance. I think Gabrilelle and I pulled it off for her perfectly, with a bit of funkiness thrown in for fun. A gorgeous, and fun bridal party never hurts either!

Sherrie and Luc celebrated their beautiful wedding on the longest day of the year at Brock House. Although the forecast had been calling for rain and overcast skies, we were lucky to score a beautiful day with plenty of sunshine. Sherrie’s Phillipino background was celebrated through the ceremony and salsa dancing demos and lessons after lunch definitely got the party rocking. Photo sessions at Jericho and Granville Island completed a beautiful day for a beautiful couple. Congrats Sherrie and Luc xox
